If you could open my heart and see just how much pride, love and joy you represent for me, I think we would be here forever.

Images of you as a little boy still appear in my mind so often. I remember looking at you and wondering how you had this incredible confidence to simply show up as yourself, wherever you were. You had this personality, this determination, this almost unshakeable sense of who you were, and I remember feeling so much awe watching you grow into yourself.

Then came music. Then Poland. And now, here you are again, stepping into another completely new chapter and taking a leap of faith that no one else in our family has quite had the courage to take. And somehow, in the most you way possible, you are doing it with bravery, conviction and that same resilience I have admired in you for as long as I can remember.

You tell me all the time that I inspire you to be the best version of yourself possible. But something you may not know is that you inspire me too. Every single day.

Watching you grow, watching you make choices for yourself, watching you find your way through life and become the man you are today has been one of the greatest honours of my life. And I genuinely cannot wait to see what the next few years hold for you.

I may not always understand everything that is happening in your life, and I certainly may not always be able to comprehend the paths you choose 😂, but you know this, as you have always known it: when you need me, I am only ever a phone call away. I will always be here to protect you, to stand beside you, to figure life out with you, and, when necessary, to remind you who you are.

Honestly, reading these letters and seeing just how much you mean to so many people has made me unbelievably happy. To see the love that surrounds you, to see the lives you have touched, and to see just how deeply you are loved has made me prouder of you than I can put into words.

And now, you get to share that love with Maja.

I hope you know that you aren't simply marrying Todimu. You are joining a family that loves him very, very much, and we are so happy to make room in that love for you.

I have had the privilege of seeing the love between the two of you, and there is something so beautiful about it. There is a warmth, a friendship and a depth to the way you love each other that makes me so happy for you both. I have no doubt in my heart that what you have together is something magnificent.

So now, both of you, go.

For this letter, I’d like us to do a little exercise. Ready? Cool.

Imagine yourself in a room full of people you don’t know. You’re nervous. Maybe a little overwhelmed. You don’t know anyone, and for a moment, you feel like you’re on your own.

Now, slowly, look towards the door on your right.

There I am.

I’m cheering you on. Supporting you. Rooting for you. Silently, from a distance, but completely and wholeheartedly.

Now close your eyes for a little longer.

Because if you look back through the years, you might realise that I’ve actually been standing by that door your whole life.

Through the good days. The difficult ones. The moments when you knew exactly what you were doing and the moments when you absolutely did not.

I’ve watched you grow from my little brother into the man you are today, and somehow, no matter how much life changes, there will always be a part of me that looks at you and thinks, “That’s my brother. I’ve got you.”

And today feels a little different.

Because today, you’re not just stepping into another chapter of your life. You’re stepping into a new life with someone you have chosen to love, to build with and to walk beside.

And as happy as that makes me, I also want you to know something that I hope you never forget:

Maybe I won’t always be standing right beside you. Maybe life will take us to different places, and our lives will become busier and fuller in ways we can’t yet imagine.

Growing up with you has honestly been one of the biggest blessings in my life. You were never just my older brother, you were my best friend, my role model and someone I could always count on.

A letter to Todi.

It’s honestly hard to believe that the person I’ve known for so many different chapters of life is now in his marriage chapter.

Teni suggested writing something about growing up together, but icl man, we genuinely shared so much of our formative years together that I wouldn’t even know where to start.

You’ve always been adventurous, daring, willing to take risks, try something new and follow life wherever it leads. You’ve also always been very stubborn, but that’s part of what makes you who you are. And beneath all that daring and stubbornness is genuinely one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. You’re the kind of person who would sacrifice for someone in your corner without hesitation. Always willing to drop his last 1k for his guy to get something to eat.

More than anything, I’m grateful for the way you brought your courage and sense of adventure into my life. You brought me out of my shell more times than I can remember. You encouraged me to experience things, take chances and step beyond what felt comfortable. Looking back, I understand how much your friendship helped me grow and I’m more grateful for that than I have probably ever told you.

With distance and time between us, the bond we share has neither disappeared nor changed. And now, after all those years and all those adventures, you’ve found someone with whom to share the rest of them.

I hope your marriage is full of the same joy, courage, laughter and adventure that you’ve brought into the lives of the people who love you. I hope you continue to challenge and encourage each other, stand beside each other through every difficulty and celebrate every beautiful moment together. Most of all, I hope you remain best friends.

It’s actually crazy to think that we’ve only been close for about three years, because somehow it feels like I’ve known you forever.

The first time we ever spoke was on Instagram. You sent me a beat, the beat that would eventually become Déjà Vu & Dreams, and I sent you a demo back about 40 minutes later. I still remember how surprised you were at what I sent back. I guess that was the beginning of everything. What started as two people making music together slowly became one of the most genuine friendships I’ve had.

Since then, we’ve made an honestly ridiculous amount of music together. All of WSIC, half of Chronicles, and probably over 40 other songs that are still sitting somewhere waiting for their day. But somewhere between all those sessions, calls, ideas and arguments about music, you stopped being just my producer or a collaborator. You became my guy.

You’ve been one of those people who constantly reminds me that we have to keep going. Even when life gets heavy, you’re always pushing me to do better, work harder, work smarter and, most importantly, actually live. You’ve shown up for me at some of the points where you really need your friends to show up, and I’ll never take that for granted.

And then there’s just Todi the person 😂. You’re genuinely one of the easiest people to be around. An absolute clown, but somehow one of the most genuine people I know. You no get problem at all. You’re probably my favourite person to have an alcoholic conversation with because somehow we can talk about the most serious things and still end up laughing at complete nonsense.

One of my favourite memories has to be making WSIC over the phone that night, both of us drunk as hell and laughing at practically everything. It was chaotic, but somehow that’s exactly what makes it one of my favourite memories. It reminds me that the best parts of this journey were never just about the music. They were about the people I got to experience it with.

As a producer, I genuinely think you’re one of the greatest to ever do it. But what makes working with you special is that you actually listen. You understand collaboration. You understand people. You know how to take an idea and make it better without taking away what made it yours in the first place. And as a friend, your ability to simply show up and listen means even more to me.

When I heard you were getting married, my first reaction was honestly just, “Damn, we’re really getting old.” 😂 But underneath that, I was genuinely so happy for you. Because finally, you’re getting to do life with the person you love, Maja.

Maja, I hope you know you really bagged one of the greatest geniuses to ever walk this earth. 😂 But more importantly, you got one of the most genuine, kind-hearted and peaceful people I know. Please take care of my guy.

Man, it’s honestly crazy to sit back and think about how far we’ve come. From growing up together, spending weeks at the house, my parents basically treating you like another son, I remember momsy always asking of you whenever we talked she be like (todi nko🤣). We went through pre college together, traveling, and eventually making that big decision to leave home and pursue a better life. We’ve really been through a lot together.

You’ve been more than just a friend to me for a long time. You’re my brother, and I’m genuinely grateful for all the memories, the good times, the crazy moments, and even the challenges we’ve had along the way. When we were younger, we talked about a lot of things we wanted for our lives, and it’s amazing to see some of those things actually becoming reality.

Now you’re married, bro. 😂 That’s a HUGE step, and I honestly couldn’t be happier or more proud of you. Seeing the man you’ve grown into has been one of those things that makes me appreciate how far we’ve both come.

As you start this new chapter of your life, I pray that God blesses your marriage, gives you both wisdom, patience, understanding, and keeps your home filled with love, peace, and happiness. I pray that you and your wife continue to grow together, support each other, and build the kind of life we used to talk about when we were younger.
